WHAT IS DECA?

DECA is a student-centered organization specifically designed for marketing students to help them develop their leadership and speaking skills, be academically prepared for their future, community oriented, and build networks amongst peers and business contacts.

WHAT WE DO

DECA members take an active role within the community by partnering up with local businesses to assist with Integrated Marketing Plans, hosting community service events, raising awareness for causes in the local community, speaking at public engagements, assisting local organizations with events, volunteering at local elementary and middle schools, engaging in fundraising efforts to develop business skills and operating the school apparel store, the Stampede Stop Shop, and so much more.

DECA provides students with marketing, management, entrepreneurship, leadership, speaking, presentation, and networking skills.  By participating in the DECA events, students are given an opportunity to explore various career opportunities which better prepares them for the future.
